Ever tried using a DVD ripper?

I use AoA DVD Ripper. It's far from perfect (notice the high amount of compression in my MPEG2 uploads), though.

No,I haven't Matt. I just went directly from the DVD itself. Would that would help or maybe downloading it into my computer maybe?

A DVD ripper certainly would help.
1. Remember to find one that allows a free trial before you buy
2. Remember to rip at the correct frame-rate and aspect ratio
3. Use a DVD ripper that allows MPEG-2 ripping

The DVD ripper I use is OK, but the compression is pretty bad.
